United States is one place where breastfeeding beyond 6m-1y seems bad. Don't know why though. My wife is still breastfeeding and he's about 2.5 yrs old.
My advise tough love. Let the baby cry but make sure she had enough food to eat for the day.
Or get pregnant again. Pregnancy changes the quality of the milk and they wean themselve. They don't like the taste of a pregnant mom's milk.

Because you want to stop nursing, now is the perfect time! (But it'll probably break your heart just a little bit. :-)
She may not like it, but I found that the easiest thing is just to offer more and more liquid from a cup. Decide how often you are willing to nurse for - oh, maybe the next week. Three times a day? At bedtime only? Whatever you decide, simply tell her that mamma doesn't have any milk right now, "but here's some milk (juice, water) in a big girl cup!"
Let her have the breast at the times you've decided, then reduce the number of times per day the next week. Go as quickly or as slowly as the two of you need, but remember, you are the mamma, so you are in charge. The greatest benefits of breast milk are in the earlier months.
Make sure she gets plenty of touching as you reduce nursing--that's half of what she'll miss!
You are a great mom, and you've done your child a great service to give her such a healthy, loving start in life, but she is a bigger girl now.
Good luck to you both!

Try something bitter around nipples when baby wants to feed, I hope she will quit mamma feed soon once he will realize it's not good any more. It sounds weired but it will work.

Why? Nursing a two year old is good for her and good for you. It's a great way to stop a temper tantrum without giving in, and it's good for helping her get to sleep, too. It will protect her from breast cancer (and other cancers) throughout her life. The World Health Organization recommends nursing for *at least* 2 years or even longer.

You should discuss this with your baby's pediatrician.
However, most professionals will say that two years is long enough to breast feed.
