Would you give up one finger? A leg? The use of one eye, or both? Your annual salary? 10 years off your life? How far would you go?

I would be Joe DiMaggio. I am a woman and Joe DiMaggio was quite the man. He was an athlete, albeit a very caring one. He was raised properly, too. He was an amazing baseball player as well. Why would I be Joe DiMaggio? Because he was strong physically, emotionally and spiritually. I would be Joe DiMaggio and I would treat my wife with kid gloves and then I would slam that ball when I was playing. I would take my children (if I had any) to do everything and I would never cheat, no matter what because marriage is for life. I also like him because he was quiet. And should I have a wife and children as Joe DiMaggio (I know we are speculating here) if my family ever gained a modicum of success, I as Joe, would never tell the press because my family can tell their own tale. If I am on camera for an interview it is because my agent needed for me to be in the spotlight. If home matters crossed my lips, it would be minimal because I am a private, devoted family man. You ever read dirt on Joe? No. What would I give should I be Joe DiMaggio? I would accept my wife going first in death so that I could either put one red rose at her place of rest every day or at least have an aide de camp do it EVERY DAY (as I might be playing ball) because I have deep human feelings for her. After all, I married her for better or for worse (even in divorce, she was a valuable human and she was part of my life). She can't be replaced as her human self but it's not to say that I might not get another wife since all humans are different. But I will put the rose out and since I am so very nice, my wife (if I get one) will understand that. She too, will be getting a flower everyday should she preceed me in death because I know that my wife/wives know I loved them. And the greatest of these is love.

Deion Sanders in his prime, when he was playing football and baseball in the same day. I'd give up my golden years (once I hit 80) to do so :)
