Yep.
He wasn't wearing a helmet and is very seriously hurt.
He broke his upper and lower jaw, lost almost all of his teeth, sustained many facial break (basically got his face bashed in).
I don't see how he can be ready for training camp or the beginning of the season. I doubt he'll be able to play at all next season.
The Steelers are unlikely to make the playoffs, let alone the Super bowl with Bettis retired and Rothlesberger on IR.

The car, was driven by Martha Fleishman, 62, of Squirrel Hill (area of Pittsburgh), who made a left turn toward the bridge in front of the cyclist. The motorcycle, traveling in the opposite direction, hit the car and Roethlisberger flew into the windshield and then hit the ground head first. He apparently made no effort to slow down according to some witness accounts, and was needless to say severly bloodied in the incident.

He actually did the hitting, spun over the hood of the car and hit his head on the pavement.

he got hit by one car...at first he was listed in serious but stable condition. now the doctors say he may be able to leave the hospital today and be ready for mini-camps as early as next week. he'll play next year and he'll lead them to another phenomenal season.
