My opinion is that as long as they come to work and contribute to the US they should be given a chance. Some people are very harsh with them but its not their fault, the Mexican goverment has been governed but corrupts who have not made enough jobs and they are push to this decision. I think as long as they are willing to adopt the american traditions and of course without forgetting their roots. This is a very hard question because not every one is the same. Some are families try trying to succed and some are people who only come to see what to take. But over all I think the goverment should do some reasearch and see the good potentials and help them be legalized. I came from Mexico and life was not easy. I came in the us Legal but temperaly so when I grew up I had a boyfriend which honestly I thought he was from over there and did not care I came out pregnant and he wanted to get married this is when I found out he was a resident. We put my papers in I had to take alot. He would cheat and beat me up but I loved him so I would stay. One day he throws me out of his house I hadnt even received not even a permise I was in a shelter and they sent me to file for batter womens act in my status case. So now that I have gone threw so much I need to go to school and have a future for my 2 kids. I did not get married for this but now I have a responsibility of my kids. And the comunity and the goverment had made it very hard for me. I could not leave him cause the was the threat of deportation. I have no one in Mexico so I would not survive. My son has a blood disease and one lawyer before the one I have now accually told me to go back and when he had send me to the emergency room close to death. Then they would be able to help this ignorant people probably make people go back and sadly maybe get killed. Thank god I saw another lawyer who told me this was false. And know I am being help and hope any one in my case get out of abusive relationship and wont be scared of deportation.

At least they look like human beings, rather than the LA people with their plastic surgeries, blown up lips, noses falling off (MJ), face so tight their skin might rip...
Seriously, it doesn't matter what we think - the government should put a vote b4 the American people - but they won't. It all depends on who gives the lobbyists the most $$$$.

i think that even though the us says they are not singiling out the mexicans that it is all illegal immigrants they are trying to control that in reality they are only concerned about the mexican immigrants which isnt right because other illegal immigrants are just as harmful
