We armed the hell out of Iraq when we were at war with Iran. We supported Saddam even though we knew he was a tyrant. Aren't we smart?

That's actually more than funny...and to be perfectly honnest we deserve it who the hell in their right mind gives ANYONE over there a weapon. Hell we can't own guns over here without a permit and we still shoot each other lol...but I know I'd sure as $hit give one to an Iraqi to "protect" themself. Honnestly what is this world coming to did they give them the maps of every major camp we set up too so they could come and ambush us when we were asleep?!?! C' mon now and to answer the last part of your question YES were brilliant bloody brilliant!

Most Iraqis use AK47s we don't make them. Also most Iraqis are glad we are there. Some of the insurgents are shooting RPGs at us--we didn't make them either--ours would work better (but that's good right now).

Yes it is funny in an ironic sort of way...but its at the expense of innocent lives...to me that's sad.
