The bear is white because in order for all four walls to face south you have to be at the top of the earth in the north pole where the only kind of bear is a polar bear.

The Bear is brown. 'cause bears are brown. (Even if you are at the North Pole you still have N,S,E, and W. If all walls faced South it would be a Mexican border making the bear a brown or black bear scaring immigrants from passing the border.)
