Is there such a thing as a "normal" redneck?---he he----A redneck is a person that has 5 vehicles---4 broke down in his yard and 1 that he keeps working on so he can drive it to the local beer joint on Saturday nights. He also has at leat 3 ole mangy dogs laying around on the front porch that is falling down. And let us not forget the beer can collection, no teeth, braless wife, and 10 kids running around in their underwear and barefoot.

I don't like be prejudice, and say all rednecks are racist and ignorant because it would only add to the intolance in this world. I think they are normal people with values and ideals, but like all groups they all have one rotten apple that can spoil the bunch.

i am from the south...and i am not a "redneck"....i have always thought of rednecks as being out spoken people...stubborn, one track mind that is closed, not open to learning new things, but content to have them the way they have always been, usually prejudice against something, it is there way or the highway attitude.

i don't know about redneck,cable TV and high speed communication including the internet have pretty much homogonized american society.and as far as normal,thats a setting on a washing machine.
