Honestly it depends on what you are looking for in a provider, and on your region. I was in the wireless industry and helped improve the networks of all of the carriers in South Florida. In South Florida for call quality, I'd have to say T-Mobile. I truly hate Cingular,.. and I have them.

In my opnion I believe CINGULAR is the best!

Cingular Wireless is the largest wireless company in the United States, with more than 54 million customers who use the nation's largest digital voice and data network.

Cingular offers its customers a number of unique and tangible benefits, including:

The ability to call any of the company's 50 million customers for free on select plans.
An unprecedented selection of handsets and devices to meet every need.
The ability to make calls on the country's largest digital voice and data network - the Cingular ALLOVERSM network, which covers more than 270 million people in the top 100 U.S. markets.
The largest international coverage of any U.S. carrier, giving customers the ability to make calls using an internationally enabled phone on 6 continents and 170 countries, with wireless data roaming in 70 countries for laptops, PDAs, and other data services.
A 30-day, no-questions-asked return policy nationwide—more than any other national carrier.
Friendly, high-quality service at every Cingular location.
A simplified yet comprehensive service summary that spells out exactly what customers are buying and estimated future bills.
Interactive mapping tools in our stores that let customers get more coverage information than ever before so they can make a more informed decision.
And Rollover, the wireless plan that lets customers keep their unused monthly minutes.
In addition, Cingular serves 95 of the Fortune 100 companies and counts more than 80 percent of the Fortune 500 and more than 1,200 federal, state, and local government agencies as customers.

Most poles rate Verizon as #1 in customer satisfaction and Tmobile as #2. Cingular comes in at #3. Ironicaly, #1 Verison is the most expensive and #2 T mobil is the least expensive. Go figure.

I would say Tmobile. Best price, great connection, great service. I have never had a dropped call, however my friend on Cingular has them every day. Go figure. He had to email the ceo's to get his account corrected. I would advise everyone to stay away from them.

I have Verizon and I like my service. They have greta plans and good service. I have a few areas my phone doesn't pick up but for the most part it picks up great and I live out in the country. My phone picks up inside my best friend's house and hers doesn't and she has Cingular.
