i've heard ppl said that babies are born like with a rash due to irritation that chili causes... what can i do?...i've stopped for almost 3 months but ...Im craving jiji:S

the only food you should be worried about while pregnant is seafood(fish and shellfish) You are more sensitive to it, and can have a allergic reaction even if you are not normally allergic.

Nope, actually, Chili can be quite good for the baby. It really depends on the baby itself. I know that in the Southwest they eat EXTRA chilis when women get pregnant to determine the sex of the baby. I say go for it!

well actually i am 34 weeks pregnant and live in Australia where we have excellent health care and advice for pregnancy. I went to King Edward Memorial Hospital and they advised me not too eat food that is too spicy. Apparently it is not good. There are web pages on what you should and should not eat so try doing a search on it.

I think that is an old wives tale. It cracks me up that people say "you shouldn't eat Mexican while pregnant", etc.... What do they think Mexican women eat during pregnancy? lol As long as you dont have an allergy to it-eat it!! Enjoy! It is our God-given right as pregnant women to eat whatever we want whenever we want-after we deliver we can never do that again! LOL

wohow!ask a doc! but ur child will love chili! my mother ate shrimp a lot and i luvz my shrimpy!
