Yes this is true, the more fruit and juices they have the sweeter it is. But they have to have it everyday for it to always taste sweet.

I don't think it will taste like pineapple; just sweeter than it normally would.

It can make it taste sweet is all. Alot of different sweet foods (such as fruits) do that.
