how can i wire this safely

you can get a power invertor and if you have a portable dvd player with the input jacks for games on it you could wire it up using the normal household ac adaptor for he ps2 in your car just plug the power inverter into your ciggerette lighter and plug the playstation in the invetor i suggest you get one with a place for the car adaptor for the dvd player and there you go portable ps2

You can do this in two steps: And this doesn't keep your ps2 permanently in your car!!!
Provided that your car is big enough, you can buy a small tv and buy a power converter to change the cigarette lighter into a normal socket. But since there are two things to plug in, you also have to buy a cigarette lighter splitter, these come at very cheap prices!!

Bring it to you local circuit city....when i added games to the car I limited the game playing to the car only, so my teens wouldn't be on it all day at home and to get them to come with me in the car more often like for longer trips which they hated before that)
