I hope you have good insurance, because Clomid can get EXPENSIVE.....
Our insurance company would not cover it because it's not considered Medically Necessary.(in otherwords, its not medically necessary for you to get pregnant or to put it another way...there is no medical reason you have to be pregnant)
And it got to be over $200.00!
Also this drug makes you produce MORE eggs. if you do get pregnant, you could have twins or triplets or more!
Good Luck.
P.S. Yes, I did get preg. a few months later :) after I quit taking the Clomid because of the price.

My friend got pregnant on the first month of clomid. Her child is now 2 and she wants to get pregnant again and took it for 3 mos and it hasn't worked yet this time. But it can quite possibly work the first month for you good luck!

My wife and I tried Clomid. We did it for three months, and it didn't work for us.

Additionally, my wife got really bad migraines from the Clomid, and she is still affected by them 5 years later. Be really careful, and if you start getting any side effects, stop taking the Clomid, because I think the side effects are permanent.
