OMG, I am in the same boat. I am normally 110-120 and 5 foot 4 but I am 34 weeks and I gained 50lbs! As long as you and baby are healthy then there is no worries, my ob has had 5 kids and she said she gains 50 lbs too with every pregnancy and she is a twig. You will lose it quickly if you eat healthy and especially if you are breastfeeding. Those boys I tell you! We must be having linebackers for babies :) Congrats and good luck

You're normal!
Average is 25-35 with 45-55 still being within normal range. I'd recommend you read the attached article on weight during pregnancy - it's great!

Dear, this is NOT the time for you to be hopping on the scale every week unless it's at your OB/GYN's office! Your weight gain is perfectly normal.
If you have questions about what's normal, PLEASE ask your doctor or get a good reference book like What to Expect When You're Expecting. Don't ask for or take medical advice from strangers!

relax, this is perfectly normal. your metabolism has simply slowed down to allow protection to the uterine area and better absorption of the nutrients to go to the baby. it is healthy. and dont worry, after you have the baby you should be able to lose it with a good low-calorie diet and plenty of exercise.
