In this PC (political correctness) world the whole question of sex and gender role has become quite confusing. Traditionally male pronouns and descriptors were applied to undifferentiated groups. Man, Mankind, humanity, mailman, etc. Under this system everything was male except those social roles which were clearly female. Mother, wife, daughter, sister, maid, maiden. Yes the system was demeaning, but that was the way it was. The problem with this PC stuff is: (1) how do you eliminate all these old cultural references without rebuilding the whole language system and (2) do we really want to throw away all the cultural advantages and values attached to this system. As for the here and now, legally speaking the gender roles have been set aside and equally in everything is the name of the game. In practice we will never fully impliment this idealistic state of sexual equality.

Definitely the gender -role differences not only in the natural system but also difference in cultural way. From the feminist perspective, it was found that the way man learn and the way woman is quite different. For example, man belives in rational as the tool for learning but woman does enjoy this rather she can easily learn by context and association, linkage and discussion. This is the example of gender differences in learning but naturally, woman gives birth a child but man only insert the sperm on the uterus. woman has the milky brest to feed her child but man does not have. This is the part of the sex but the gender is the cultural things, which has been created. Since the gender role is created, we can simply re conceptualize and reformulate the role according the need of woman and man.
