He used this "gift" to become the greatest race car driver and earned the nickname "Intimidator" by using this eye to hand coordination to enable him to ride the bumper of the car in front of him until he passed the car. It's not just that he intimidated you if you got in his way, it's HOW he intimidated you. If you didn't move over he would simply punt you out of the way. He was great but he was one of the dirtiest drivers of his time. Ask DW or Terry Labonte or anyone else running ten or fifteen years ago.
