Compare Patrick Roy and Marty Brodeurs over all stats. Marty is gaining. Roy shouldn't have retired so early, when Detroit plays Colorado, its not the same anymore. loved to watch him play. The cocky/arrogant self confidence is what made him so good.
He could lose a game 12-0 and come back the next game and and shut you out. So I say (retired) Roy. (active) Brodeur.
D. Hasek can be good if he gives himself time to heal before he gets back into a line up.
Speaking of good goalies, any one know where my Red wings can get one !

Johnny Bower....most impressive slides and played without a mask....poor guy got hit so many times with a puck...the goalie pads were smaller years ago and the nets never came off the posts either....hard to say who was the best....Tretiac in 1972 with USSR was absolutely awesome!

Roy is best all time, hands down noboby brought a more intense game to the rink than he did,

right now however the best goltender in the league would either be broduer or Kipper on the flames its kind of a toss up there
