Unsubscribe from what?
If you are talking about Spam emails, then DO NOT UNSUBSCRIBE!!! The emails that offer you an "unsubscribe" option are designed to find active email addresses, because other spammers will pay for email addresses that they know are being used.
By clicking on "unsubscribe", an email is sent to the originator, which very effectively confirms that your account is active, and somewhere, someone makes some money by selling that fact.
Remember that you should NEVER unsubscribe from something that you did not actively subscribe to in the first place.

As for everything else, If there is an unsubscribe option clearly visible, then click it. If not, then just ignore it. Most people cancel the service automatically if you do not use it for 90 days.

If you are referring to the emails that you get from answers every time a new answer comes to your question, then it isn't a matter of unsubscribing. It is in fact a matter of not clicking the "send me an email when i get an answer to my question" button just before you post your question.
