Hey there everyone. Was going through some old music today. Does anyone know or remember the Australian bands Icehouse, Boom Crash Opera and Australian Crawl? Three of my old faves. If you do what do you think?

Yeah of course!

80s Aussie music was great.

Aussie Crawl - Boys Light Up!

Classic Aussie Lyrics - "Hopes are up for trousers down
With a hostess on a business flight"

James Reyne still gets asked to play that, even at family old-timers gigs he does now!
Even though nobody understood what the hell the words were - everyone loved him!

Boom Crash Opera - Onion Skin still gets a run from Aussie cover bands.

Icehouse - Some of their old hits are embarrassing (Electric Blue - makes me cringe just thinking about it). But Great Southern Land could be the national anthem!

There some pretty good groups from Australia. Dirty three, quickspace,Architecture in Helsinki. Yeah those kids from the land of the roos are alright in my book.
