if you pay with pay pal or check or moneyoreder it will be easier to report (becaseu you have proof) with cash it will be harder,.....when you look under what you've won and look under contact seller there is also item not received then you can follow the directions

Buyers can open an Item Not Received or Significantly Not As Described dispute between 10 and 60 days after the transaction date (the date when the listing closes and the buyer commits to buying the item and the seller commits to selling it). When opening a dispute, the buyer indicates whether the item was not received or whether it was received but significantly not as described.

Click on your 'My eBay' tab and under the 'Items that I've won' there's a list of actions you can choose from under 'Action' then you'll have to choose 'Report an Item not Received'. What this does is that it moves the problem into the 'Dispute Center' or whatever they call it which is a screen where you indicate the situation and where the seller will respond.
After you guys dispute this out ebay decides what to do I believe
the ebay website tells you everything you need to know about how to report items that are not sent.

First try to contact the seller..wait a few days for a reponse...If you don't get one..Go through eBay and file a complaint. If you have paid for the item and still no response from the seller go to paypal and go under the subheading, "resolution centre".. This way it is in paypals hands. The dispute you file through paypal is forwarded to your seller and he/she has 10 days to respond (sometimes longer). If the seller does not respond the dispute is in your favour and you will get your money back..But most important thing to remember is to contact the seller at all times! Any communication you have with them, save it!!! If they turn out to be deadbeats, you can file a complaint through eBay (non performing seller) but you will need all correspondence saved in order to send it to eBay. (if no coresspondence-original is saved Ebay will not do anything).Good luck..I had to wait over 3 months for a dress and filed through Paypal!! I got the dress and cancelled the dispute... hope this helped! Check a sellers feedback as well...If the have too many negative feedbacks you are taking a risk dealing with them...

LOL some of these answers are off the mark! Police??? calling the credit card company to cancel a payment?? Police aren't trained in law school for Ebay ripoffs and credit card companies do not stop payment (unless a card was stolen) you pay, you owe..unless you use resolution centre) Good luck..I am sure all will be ok

You have to report problems to paypal within 45 days, so if you paid by paypal you'll be out of luck there. But do report it to ebay if you can't get any answer from your seller. Try contacting your seller first. You can contact them directly from my ebay. There'll also be an item not received link there in the items won part of my ebay.

Try to contact the seller and see why you have not recived the item. If the seller does not contact you back, send another message demanding a refund. And if that does still does not work, send the seller a message saying you will report them as a fraud to ebay (only to be used as a last resort). Then leave negative feedback if they do not respond.

I helped order something for my daughter through ebay. It came from the U.S.A. She never received the package. Ebay said they weren't responsible. I narrowed down the sender to a postal box number and got hold of the local police and they would not do anything either. Moral of the story.........don't buy on ebay.

First, you should try to contact the seller via email. If you've tried that, you are able to request the seller's contact phone # once logged into your ebay account. If still unsuccessful, then Ebay has a mediator section to report conflicts.

first contact the seller in any way you can..and every way you can..
second contact eBay ask them how to handle this problem and make a complaint..and tell eBay you have contacted the seller in all the ways you have contacted them ..
and if you paid with PayPal. write and call them telling them you want to make a complaint..
and a lot of the time eBay and PayPal calls the seller and tells them to fix the problem or they will not be able to do business anymore on the site..
if you paid by credit card call them now and inquire to what can be done to salve this problem.they will help you out in this.and even maybe credit your account like Pay Pal will..

Is the item still advertised and was it advertised when you bought it? You should be able to report it directly to ebay. I've never bought from them but they should have a contact for this sort of thing.
