My friend (Sarah) lives in an apartment and my friend's sister (Jenny) had her friends come over and they were the ones being all loud and noisy and so the police came and talked to all of us and of course its my friends apartment ( Sarah's) so no matter what she is going to get ticketed but her and her sister are telling me everyone who was there should pay her the money 4 the ticket, I think thats unfair considering I was quiet, I didn't make much noise it was her sister's friends who made the most noise!! She did tell them to stop but they did not listen to her. She (Sarah) said if I didn't pitch in the money our friendship would end. I was like Pshh why should I pay for something I did not do?? I don't think I should pay when I was not loud.

It wasn't a party (just clearing the air) we were all just hanging out and Jenny's friends are always usually loud and obnoxious but this was beyond the usual. I dont really care for Jenny's friends so thats why I didn't say much., and I think it's unfair for me to pay for something I did not do, Jenny's friends should be paying Sarahs ticket for being loud and obnoxious and its not fair to Sarah but the apartment is in her name. Nobody else was being loud except Jenny's friends.

I don't think anyone at the party should pay. She threw it. It's her house. She is responsible for the consequences. Tell her to quit being so immature and grow up.

Even if it wasn't a party, you shouldn't pay. It's her house and she has to live with the consequences of what goes on there.

I think you should find it in your heart to pitch in even though you weren't loud you were still there don't let a ticket ruin you friendship.tell her your going to pitch in because your her friend and friends look out for each other and tell her not to threaten you
to ask you in a nice way and you will help. if she can't be nice about it then drop her she is not a good friend.

thinking on your part is justified
you have put your question in society and culture so in that respect since you were there on the scene you should contribute your share for remaining silent or making less noise as a part of moral science

If you think about that ,you shouldn't pay......
But I am who I am and I don t except any kind of blackmail.....If you don t do that I don t be your friend and etc......If someone don t want to be my friend,I let him.her go......I can find many else whom I will be good enough as friend......
