There is nothing wrong with it, they are small minded. You should be free to discover and grow.

I thought diversity is a good thing? One of the finest country Telecaster guitar players I ever heard is a black girl. From New England, yet! :-)

its better because what is typical "black music" is actually really pathetic music - dragging the ***** race backwards, its stagnant and non-progressive, really sad stuff if you think about it... nothing intelligent about it at all.
No offense, I am just talking about the music.. Afro beat is very good, world music is great, all kinds of music should be listened to

Why would it be wrong? I'm white and I like all kinds of music. I'm not big on country music.

That's ridiculous you would even ask that. You are who you are. I know the world is stereo-typical when it's conveniant for them. People are free to be who they are. If any person tells you anything else they are prejudice reguardless of race.

Culturally, I think it is becoming more accepted for people to like music outside of their ethnic group. Personally I say who cares what anyone else thinks, you like what you like. You can't make yourself like something that you don't.
