It looks like a serpent crawling up because of the shadows of the steps and sun.

Temple of Kukulkan, its in yucatan mexico. didnt you just ask this? on the winter solstice, theres a shadow cast on the temple, which reveals a giant feathered serpent god on the steps.

That's El Castillo, the Temple of Kukulcan, at Chichén Itzá. The serpent crawls on the spring and fall equinoxes--I believe in the Spring he crawls down and in the fall he crawls up. It is a Mayan pyramid, not an Aztec one.

That pyramid is in Chichen Itza. It is called El Castillo (The Castle), although its Mayan name is Kukulkan. I saw it in 1981. It is near Merida, in Yucatan state.
