usually when you buy a phone, a kit goes with it. this kit includes a cd, a data cable, ear phones, and a charger.

use the CD to install the phone software to your PC. once it is installed you are ready to connect your phone to your pc using the data cable. If your PC does not recognize the cable connected to it, you must have at least a service pack 1 installed on your pc. ( better yet install the service pack from 1 to 4) this service pack is downloadable for free at the microsoft website.

Once the phone cd is installed on your pc, it will have an interface that will guide you through. so good luck.

Many have said just email the pictures to your address. Did you know it cost's to sent wireless messages to your email. I learned that when my bill looked a little higher than normal. Depending on how many pictures you have it may be worth buying the cable required to upload the pictures. Its a different story if your computer isn't compatible. I RECOMMEND YOU GET THE CABLE to save money!!!

Why don't you just email them to yourself and then download them from your email. This way you don't need a kit or to email people (other than yourself).
