I use aloe gel, (from a bottle, I do not have a plant) for my hair. It is wonderful as a leave in. I use it as a setting gel, as a substitute for hairspray to keep my updos neat and smooth. I love it in home made leave-ins and spritzes. It is great mixed with conditioner and honey, if your hair is not coloured, if so, skip the honey and used as a deep conditioning treatment.

It is a wonderful moisturizer for the skin and is good for minor cuts, scrapes and burns.

If you get sunburned you can turn them into gel (don't ask me how) for your skin.
