Taylor Hicks is obviously not ugly to the majority of Americans who voted him to win American Idol. The reason he was choosen as one of People Magazine's most eligible bachelors is because the majority of America loves him and he is an eligible bachelor.

He is a most eligible bachelor because he has one of the qualities women want in a man. He Just won 1million dollar recording contract . Thats money baby! Lets face it, his looks are no George Clooney.

Because it's for "eligible" bachelors, not "attractive" bachelors. A bachelor is by definition eligible, so if he is a bachelor, then he is already eligible. There is no scale of high or low to eligibility. The entire thing is a hoax.

He's not ugly. How old are you? If you're younger than 20 I can see where you might not find him "Hot". You're looking at the gray hair. It's heredity. There's a lot of stars that would have gray hair, but they color it. I think he is comfortable in his own skin. That's sexy.Look at his eyes, look at his smile, it's almost as if you can trust him with your greatest secrets, and have a ball with him. I'm willing to bet you that if Taylor saw you stranded on the highway, he'd pick you up quicker than those "Hot" men in the issue. Look beyond the "Looks".

Ugly!!!.!!!!!!Not!!!!!!!!!!!!! He not the most handsome man that walked the earth but he is far from ugly.
Most eligible???????Just figure how much money he is going to earn now that he is known and has a recording contract and is doing Ford ads and so on and so on. I d say he would be a pretty

Because not everyone loves people who are pretty boys. Look at Jude Law. Pretty boy who cheats on his wife just because he's good looking & thinks he should be allowed to screw who he wants. I love guys who have imperfections & are different with their looks & personalities & just like being themselves. You don't have to be good looking to have talent. & Taylor Hicks is talented & alot of people like the offbeat gray hair & the way he looks so please don't diss him. Have a great day.
