It really depends on what your goals for the website are, but in general: craft quality content for the website. In general the more quality content you have the better from a search engine perspective.

Also, be wary of using tools for the masses like WIX, etc. If you care about your brand and about your business, differentiate yourself with a custom design.

Finally, make sure your website is 'responsive' so that it is able to adapt to mobile devices. Mobile traffic is king these days.
