It is put into a compost pile to decompose. The best use is for it after that is gardens as fertlizer.

When I was in Europe, farmers would spread it over their fields before planting. It was not pleasant to travel through the countryside then.

I put mine in my compost pile...

Some farmers just put in out in the pasture and it decomposes.

By composting it and turning it into a "killer" mulch for your flower beds or garden.
