There was the six months that I was working three different jobs yet still making only enough to pay rent and make my car payment... went without electricity and the phone for a full month in the middle of winter... thanked god that I had a gas heater! At least I was able to stay warm and cook on the space heater- ha! I dont recommend that though. That was a hard time for sure... There was a lot of fear and depression at the time as I struggled to make improvements in various aspects of my life at the time.

I found that all things worked out in time. Thank goodness. =)

When I was in basic training in the Navy, and when I went to nuclear power school in the Navy. It was the HARDEST school I've ever attended - like 2 years of college packed into 6 months. But I made up my mind that I would do whatever honest work it took in order to not fail out of school. That attitude, and the rest of the trials and tribulations I endured in the Navy, have served me well in the rest of my adult life.

I spent two years in the Army. I got out and was recalled for another year. I had married and had a new baby and a good job.I reported for active duty and it was 9 months before i received any pay. That was an especially hard time. I was limited as to how to support my new family. It was hard for me watching everything go from Good to extremely bad. My boss the U.S. Government could care less. We made it through but I wonder if the same is happening to the Guard and reserves being called up now.

I was pregnant alone and was on bed rest, I had zero help and I need government assistance, so they gave me 47$ a month to eat... Needless to say I hated living that way so I went back to school, stated working and became a business owner who is married owns 2 cars and a house... The trials in life are what make you a great human being. I am thankful for the things I went through.
