The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.
I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.
Associations may be a good avenue to explore as well. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you'll inevitably have as well as many you haven't anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.
Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

I worked for an escort service for a year in Las Vegas, Nevada but no, I was not one of the girls I was the accountant. Believe me when I say to you that this is not the kind of business that you want to get into. I put up with it for the money, but one year was all I could take. It is a dark and ugly business the girls’ souls are lost and the mobsters are still alive and well in this kind of dark world. I always feared for my life when I had to pick up the moneys that the girls made that night, the girls were constantly being harass by men, and wife’s calling wondering why are company was charging 500 dollars on there credit card and that it must be a mistake. The list goes on and on! My advices to you get into some other kind of business because the Mobsters own this part of it.

OK..LMAO...first you will need organized crime ties,,,then just put an ad in the news paper i guess... i always see ad's for agencies lookin g for escorts, and as far as the customer base is concerned...the Johns will "***" (lol)

but why would u want an escort agency??? what about the first time a girl gets raped or dies while on a call that you arranged?? could u live with that on your concious??
my best advice would be to hire an escort for yourself,,,she would be MORE than happy to chat with you for that hour about the biz..may cost you $150 or so...but would be the best biz resreach you could get,,, will really personify the business for you..maybe spin you into a 180, when u see and hear how badly these woman are treated,,,and how normal they are :)

Don't do this. Many men are aggressive and there are a lot of rapists. I mean a lot. You could even get murdered. Sex is one of the most traumatizing things when it isn't done in the right way. Men treat escorts with a large amount of verbal abuse.

Think twice before pursuing this line of work. I'm not going to give you a morality lecture. It's illegal outside of Nevada. It's very dangerous - you risk violence to yourself and not to mention STDs.
