Honestly it depends on what you are looking for in a provider, and on your region. I was in the wireless industry and helped improve the networks of all of the carriers in South Florida. In South Florida for call quality, I'd have to say T-Mobile. I truly hate Cingular,.. and I have them.

I live in Western Nc and I think Verizon is great. I won't tell you that I have no dropped calls becuase sometimes in very few areas I drop a call but for the most part my service rocks. My best friend has Cingular and her service sucks. My phone will pick up inside her house and hers doesn't. I think she is ready to switch to Verizon. They have great calling plans and I get it even better because most of my family is on Verizon.

"The best" is a very flexible word, usually requiring your preference and lifestyle in the cellphone idustry. Virgin Mobile offers a chart on their website with details on there services, how they charge you, and if they fit in relation to the way they fit your mobile lifestyle. Go to this link for the virgin mobile chart: http://www.virginmobileusa.com/rates/home.do

Choose the service and method of billing that fits you the most. Good luck.
