James is overrated. Talented but not the type of player people will want to see for ten years! He and Wade will end up like another Jim Jackson,Allan Houston or a Shawn Kemp..People will get bored with them and they wont last..

Kobe?critics here and there as much his fan base..But hes been there for ten freakin years.. And he battled his Airness while the NBA was still MJs kingdom.. He didnt blink then, why would he blink now?against media marketed superstars in wade and James? Nah, let them have them enjoy their temporary superstar status, kobes going up there among MJ,Magic and Bird and nobody can do anything about it..

MVP? People will forget MVP awards, its just an opinion of some people in the NBA..Like a lottery..Kobe scored 81 people!!No trophy could ever match that, not even an MVP award..

Wilt scored 100 playing in a skinny white boy infested NBA league before, Now we gpt a lot of superstars thanks to good marketing strategy..But when Kobe scored 81,that clearly set him apart from the rest wanting to be the best..because Kobe now doesnt want to be the best, He already is..

Thats a good question, ask that again 5 years from now,i bet your question will be-"Who is the best player in the world -put a new name here-,-put a new name here- or Kobe Bryant?"

Peace..

What about Dirk and his development this Postseason becoming the most Versatile player in the game. What about Duncan or Kobe's ride to the three rings Shaq(I don't like shaq). Give me KG over those three any day. But out of those three i would have to take Wade. Sure the common thread between Wade and Kobe is Shaq but Wade had started to take the Heat places his rookie yr, BEFORE SHAQ GOT THERE. Shaq is now riding Wade these playoffs. The Heat wouldn't be anywhere with out Wade. One word on James... Overrated. win something then come talk to me and please don't give me the support argument He has plenty up there.

amongst these 3 its a tie between james and wade because james doesnt havethe spporting cast of wade so he does so much and shows it, wade is great too even in a loss but his supporting cast helps him so much more than james'. although wade also makes the cast look GREAT.

kobe is a difrferent story. too cocky and arrongant and ppl say look at his rings.. well he got those when shaq was there and he said he could take the lakers to the finals w.o him...well where iis kobe? and his 81 points against raptors are imppreessive but whats his assist average? selfish a little?

but not in those 3 i'd say dirk prolly

i would have to go with james. A the term player in basketball is indictive of a team enviorment. Yes, Kobe's arrogant behind scored 81 points, but how many assist did he have? To me a sign of a great player is a player who thinks about the greater good of his team. I don't knock Kobe as a player, the kid has mad skills. But his self centered attitude is going to be his downfall everytime. One ceases growth when they think they have learned all there is to learn. But JMO
