My fiance' hates pubic hair and I don't blame her.......I don't care for it much either. All she has to do is call up her local salon and they will take care of everything (if you know what I mean). But we (as men) are stuck to very dangerous positions and all that. Is there anywhere men can privately go to get this done profressionlly done, without having to pull out the trimmers and razors on your manhood? I find it shocking that in our day in age, there is not someone outhere providing this service....or at least a website to have this procedure done without feeling like a complete idiot. ALL women I know prefer a groomed male (down there) so what is the hang up and where can we GO?"

I appreciate the real answers and yes I laugh at the funny responses, but I am totaly serious. My fiance' does accept me for who I am, but when she come back from the salon it is almost perfect. So to everyone that say just DIY, it never is the same. I just see a double standard and wish I knew where to go. To the first poster that said salons that do it for "women" will also do it for men, you are just plain wrong. It is a taboo.............and it sucks.

OK, so even more verification is needed so I don't sound crazy. I can ensure you it was from a very real source. My fiance' just doesn't like "much" pubic hair. She sees a lady here in our hometown that just takes it "all off". She (in casual conversations) has just mentioned that it was odd the men have to do it themselves. Yes, men are hairy. Yes, she is fine with that. However, she didn't mind a man that was properly groomed and not looking like big foot. The thing is, when I try to to it myself, however careful, it always producses some problems and is not ideal.

That's it.

Many salons do unisex waxing. Check your local phone book and make some calls!

There are estheticians at some of the finer salons that offer these services to both men and women. Ask your fiance to inquire at her salon. If they don't do it, perhaps they will know someone who does, or offer to do this for you.

Also, you might want to consider the pain involved in waxing, especially in this delicate area, and reconsider shaving or using a depilatory cream. I don't think you realize what you are getting into!

of course, but the waxing is quite painfull to get done but a lot of guys do it and a lot of salons (at least the high price ones) are uni-sex as far as those things go. Your best bet would be to ring one of these places up and ask em over the phone if they cater to men, that way you wont feel embarassed if they say no...I'd be surprised if you didnt find at least one uni place

What is it with the hair hang-ups? We're hairy. Men go to the salon for the "Brazilian" wax job...but maybe not in a small town. Are you in a small town?

Ummmm I'm sorry, but while I agree that you should be able to do this, I really think your fiance needs to accept you as you are. WHY would you bother? We're hairy! Get used to it!
