What on earth were they talking about?

I overheard my young nieces talking about first, second and third base and who had reached where. Now seeing as I am well past my teens and barely aware of their american lingo the most i could gather is that it had something to do with sex. What are these bases that they were talking about and given that one is 13 and the other is just going to be 15 in july should I be concerned about their discussion?

Thanks for all answers so far. But please please please, write out actual words when replying. I find it hard to understand when people write as if they were sending a phone text message eg. pt 2 my fgr. I am still trying to figure that one out.

ok. First base is holding hands and kissing. second base is touching over the clothes. third base is under the close and masterbation. fourth or home is all the way, intercourse . hope this helps

girls 'bases' are different 2 boiz 'bases' bcus boiz bases miss a lot of things out. Wen I was 13 base 1 was holding hands but when I got older we sped things up. I think you should talk to them either way, dont ask them about what they were talking about (you were ear wigging and if they were ear wigging on your convo you'd be embarrassed to) but ask them stuff to do with either sex or teen language. You've also got 2 remember that at 13, you never wanted to look immature so tended to 'extend the truth'. Its also good that these girls arent ashamed to talk about what these things, it shows that they are sexually aware but not necessarily 'doing it'

1st - Kissing, Pulling etc.
2nd - Fingering of penis or clitoris
3rd - Licking/sucking of penis/clitoris
