if your going to sleep try to sleep in 3 hour incraments your sleep cycle lasts for 3 hours, you will still feel rested if you get 3 hours, its better than one or 2 and even better than 4 hours believe it or not, you should always try to sleep either 3 6 or 9 hours to feel the most rested, something to do with REM sleep.

Well if you are speaking strictly of health, getting some sleep is better than none at all. However, I've been known to just stay up because it is SO hard to wake up after 2 hours of sleep...

I work the Grave Yard shift at my job and all I ever get is 2 or 3 hours of sleep. Drinking lots of water helps... Your body will need a little down time.

Don't sleep if you can only get a couple of hours. You will fall asleep and not get up in time. If you have to be up, try to get some sleep right after work or school before you have to be up.

Take the sleep. You will feel rotten upon awakening, but throughout the day you will be better off for this bit of sleep.

If you think you will enjoy what you do the next day, all the More reason to get the little bit of sleep.

You need to get r.e.m. sleep to do yourself any good. That's sleep where you jump and the eyes are moving around in your head. That's why "cat naps" don't do any good. So if you can sleep enough to go beyond a cat nap and achieve a little r.e.m. sleep, get it. If you go without sleep too long you will end up turning into a zombie.
