Research on marine life is important .For example we can understand the effect of pollutants in water or save an endangered species .However confining them for entertainment is real bad .

Personally I don't really care what a fish thinks, because after all, it is a fish eat fish world. It's true in the sea. Just ask the old man. Poor fishies! Let's worry about humans first, not that we're any better, but just because we can.

Yes. By studying the animal, like dolphins, we can better understand it and this will lead to the ability to help its situation in the wild by understanding what human activities negatively impact the animals. The more we know about them the better we can help them out.
