I've been shaving my pits since forever and i have never had a problem. But lately I've been getting these bumps under there and they won't seem to go away. Not only that but they usta be all smooth when I got done shaving but now they're all stubbly. I've tried better razors like the Venus one and I've tried using better deodorant like Dove but nothing seems to work! HELP!

i know this will sound a bit sick but...dont shave for like 2 weeks and then go get your pits waxed...it doesnt hurt as bad as you think and it will get rid of all the razor burn that you are getting...or if you can afford it get it the laser treatment its permanent and is the best solution... the pain is minimal and is the same as rubber band snapping against your skin.

It's possible that the way you are shaving is causing the problem. I used to have the same problem, but this is what I do now to prevent razor bumps in my armpits:

--shave from the top of armpit straight down to the bottom
-run the razor over the exact same spot only one time; never go over the same spot multiple times...if you think you missed something, just wait a few days and then shave again
--also, as you are already doing, continue to use the best products...I use Venus razors and Skintimate shaving gel
--if you think it may be an infection:
1. purchase Witch Hazel from the drug store and use a paper towel (not cotton) to rub it on your armpits and let it dry before you put on deodorant
2. throw away our old deodorant and us a fresh, unused deodorant on your armpit
3. 24 hours later take a shower and use a paper towel or a new, unused towel to wash your underarms...then throw away the papertowel or towel
4. put on the witch hazel and let it dry, if you still see some bumps and then the deodorant from the same newer deodorant that you started the previous day

You may want to do this for a week to see if it makes a difference. If you do what I've detailed above, it will kill the bacteria that's been growing in your armpit and will keep you from reinfecting yourself with a deodorant or washcloth that has gotten contaminated

Also, make sure any clothing you wear has been freshly washed and bleached (when possible).

i've had those before, when you get one you have to stop shaving until it goes away and if you don't stop it will get bigger.

Try waxing or twee-zing.
