You need to sign out first, then sign in with your daughter's Yahoo! ID and password. Then you can check your email.

To sign out, click the Sign Out link at the top of this page.

Is ur daughters' email with yahoo or another provider?

For yahoo email, and make sure UR signed out!!! type this URL into the Internet Explorer address bar:

http://mail.yahoo.com
You can also make a short cut to this sign-in page as follows:
Find a blank space on your desktop, right-click and select 'New' then 'Shortcut'.
In the dialog box which appears, type in the only available field the following:
www.mail.yahoo.com and click 'Next' then simply type something like My Email so you can identify it on your desktop. Click finish.
Double-left click (or right-click and select 'Open') and the sign-in page will be displayed.
Just enter your username and password and - BINGO!

NOTE!! Avoid using Outlook Express if you can - it is full of bugs.

I work for BT (British Telecom) Broadband Technical helpdesk and I know this from experience of my customers. Use the web-based version and be trouble free.

If it's internet-based like most email providers are, log onto the necessary site and access it via the web.

If it isn't web-based, find out the mailbox information from the internet service provider and enter it into an email program such as Microsoft Outlook. They will most likely provide instructions how to set this up.

If you are using MSN messenger then all you would have to do is left click the msn sign at the bottom right and sign out then again and press sign in as at this point if she uses msn as well she can type in her email address and password and it will show her her email site.

If she's using Yahoo or any other "webmail" provider. Simply open your internet browser i.e. (Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer), then type in the URL of the provider she uses. i.e. www.mail.yahoo.com.

if she's using a POP3 account similar to what university or private companies use, then you have to ask for the POP3 configuration they use and input it onto either thuderbird, outlook express, MS Outlook etc. Configuration would be the values for the following:

SMTP or Outgoing Mail: i.e. smtp.mail.xxx.xxx
POP3 or Incoming Mail. i.e. pop3.mail.xxx.xxx
login: yourname
password: password

If she has yahoo, you just log out of yourself and log in as the other person, or go to the web address where her mail account is (examples: www.hotmail.com www.aol.com www.mail.yahoo.com) and log in. There shouldnt be any problems. Just make sure you or she logs out or you'll just be reading each others emails all the time lol.

At the top where it says address there is a line that changes where ever you go and on that line you type in http:/www.yahoo.com and that will take you to yahoo and then she can access her account by signing with her screen name. or you know http://www.aol.com or http://www.msn.com and so on and so forth.
