I currently have comcast, but I have been getting calls from the satellite companies offering lower rates. I love a bargain, but, I still want to get more bang for my buck. Which is better? cable or satellite. need to make a decision by tomorrow.

I like cable. I find satellite to cumbersome you have to buy all the stuff such as a dish and equipment, then set it up or pay some guy to do it and then if the reception isn't there then you are hooped. Cable its there in that little white cable you hook to your TV.

Switched from Adelphia(cable) to Dish network 21/2 years ago and love it.
Pros-
1.Cheaper than cable and better programing
2. No wires to be blown down, knocked down,or accidentally cut.
3.Cable service has a reputation of being spotty.
4.I live in south Florida and during the past 3 hurricanes Frances,Jean, and Wilma I had Satellite TV until the power went out ,my neighbors with cable lost thier cable when the winds started to really kick up.
Cons-
1.satellite goes out intermittantly duing heavy thunderstoms or really thick cloudy days.

Well their both good, but I prefer cable. Satellite will give you more channels but if you live in an area that has storms allot or in a highly mountainous area then your reception will be bad. But the problem with cable is that you'll have to pay more due to higher rates (especially Comcast).

Don't be rushed into a decision. There are always deals to be had if you want to switch. Find people in your area who have satellite service and see if they are satisfied. We use cable for Internet, so it makes more sense for us to use it for TV too, but it seems like with satellite you get more shows for less money, if they really deliver on what they promise.

well satellite sucks when the weather is bad. but its got more channels. u need 1 satellite for every tv. comcast has better stuff like on demand so i think cable is better. Stick with comcast.

depends where you live if you live in an area with lots of tall trees/hills/mountains stick with cable but costs more sattelite is cheeper and the qualty ok but for best sattelite quality get direct tv
direct tv has lots of cable type options and need only one sattelite for multiple tvs works good when it rains too

Satelite because it has better picture and deals. You know what the cable providers use to get the signal anyway? They use the big giant black satelites.

cable....hella expensive....good quality

satalite....good or descent quality (depends on company).... cheap

if u pick satalite...go with direct TV....dish network is a bit*h.... trust me....i know.....direct TV hardly ever loses a signal

and if u get a good provider....you wont lose the signal when there is bad weather....such as Direct TV....my friend has it....and its great
