Although Texans may think of Texas as a country its only a state and you'll notice each COUNTRY has a team and what world cup are you watching for the one I'm watching Brazil only has I(ONE) Team--each country represented only has i(ONE)Team. Are you sure you're not the ego-centric? Brazil is not insignificant for every country has a role and importance in this global world.

um, the world series is just for Americans, and do you have any idea how big Brazil is? Oh, by the way, Texas is part of the US and they're playing in it so technically, Texas IS playing in it. And, just so you know, other countries play in the world cup because they reside on this planet. The reason why all the countries don't play in the world cup is because: 1. not every one has a team and 2. you have to be good enough to get in.

your an egotistical prick and that attitude is the reason that people from other parts of the world hate americans
Brazil only has one team, but they have won the World Cup more times than any other country, so they're not quite that 'insignificant' as you say. sorry that you're an idiot
and it truely makes me laugh that you are calling someone else "ego centric"
the US is getting their *** kicked with one team made up of our best players, so what makes you think we could do better if that talent was spread over two teams?

there is only one team from each country that qualified. texas is in the usa. texas is represented by the usa. if texas wanted to play independent of the usa then they should have taken a team to qualify for the world cup. oh and btw....... the world series is never played outside canada or the usa, so its not really a world series....btw truthteller? know you can say you know one person watches the world cup religiously

I will play along with you for a couple of paragraphs ...
If there were several teams from the USA and less teams from the far less significant rest-of-the-world, how would that make it more "representative of the WHOLE world"?
Perhaps you think America is the whole world? Now who's being egocentric?
Having glanced at DumbAmerican's other questions, she is satirising what a dumb American would say, and to judge from her answers to other people's questions, she is anything but dumb herself. It's a wind-up!

Wow you really are STUPID. Brazil is about the size of the UNITED STATES, lol and has about the same population.
England,France,Spain, Argentina, Germany,Japan, are among the most beautifull countries in the world.
And its not about quantity is about quality.
China and Russia didn't qualify because their teams suck.
Its a miracle the USA qualified, im serious.
The world series = Global ???? one country is not global?

Texas is not a country. Any country with a football association can take part in the world cup.

Satire aside, I just love the fact that an American team failed to win the baseball 'World' Series between 1991 and 1995..... and that was despite the participation of Texas.....
