If he didn't ask for the ring back, I think you should keep it. Actually, even if he ask it back you should keep, because it was given to you. He brought it thinking on you, you were the reason for this particular ring, so you deserve it, somehow is your conquest too. (I didn't return mine).
Your attitude keeps him out of your life, not the ring. Perhaps his already brought another ring for his girlfriend and this one (your ring), won't change anything. If you want an excuse to contact him and get to know how come after only 2 months of yours engagement's break up he gets engaged again?... I don't think the ring is a smart way to approach this question. For other hand, a man whom choose to "spend the rest of his life" the same way he seems to chose a T-shirt, doesn't seems to be trustful or secure enough for big plans or big steps in life.
Yesterday were you, today is her (his girlfriend), guess what? Tomorrow will be someone else....I don't really think this is what you want for yourself, plus, only a desperate and extremely insecure women would marry a man after only 2 months of a previous engagement break up or the reason of this engagement is pure business not love.
We know love can't be achieve in only 2 months.

First of all if your very young don't move too fast. in life we have alot of things to enjoy so make the most of it. I was married only 1 yr. and divorced, because the man I married said that he owns me I couldn't do anything but w/ him only work w/ him sleep w/ him wake up w/him eat dinner seperate then go work w/him no space. How you want to live life like that. And guess what I was with this guy for 11 yrs then got married then 12 divorce. we dated when we were 14 yrs old and now I'm 30. but if you know you got the right man then it won't to give it a try. Remember they canh all look nice and respectful but believe me they can also be dangerous only god knows there plan not us we all say OH! I know him well but wedon't in reality until something may go wrong. That's what happen to me.

Wow... two months apart and he is already engaged? Sounds like a real winner. If it has any value look at pawning it, or having it as part of an estate aale (most fine jewelary places have these, call around)

If it has little or no value, but is a nice piece none the less, see about donating it to a Salvation Army... let them sell it for what they can and use the money for good use.

If its a totally piece of crap, go throw it in a lake. If it is shiney, it will entertain the fish for hours.
