Any good Father's day craft for fourth graders?

The teacher asked us moms to take that over, as she has an emergency, and will not be here tomorrow or Friday. HELP!

Have the kids cut out pictures from old magazines and newspapers. Try to find pictures of stuff that dad would be interested in, eg., gardening, boating, sporting events, etc. Paste the pictures on a big piece of construction paper. Add a special poem for Father's Day.

This is one of the most popular crafts (not just for Fathers Day but for any occasion). The gift certificates could reflect whatever dad would like. These personal crafts make a lasting impression.

Write the "gift certificates" on small pieces of colored construction paper and place them in spots around the house when dad would be sure to find them.

You could have the kids draw pictures of themselves doing something that they like to do with their Dad. Or you could have the kids write about something that their dad has taught them and have them draw a picture of that.
