I would suggest a Honda! #1. They hold their value! #2 They are very reliable with fewer problems than domestics. I am getting the Civic Hybrid. It also one 2006 Motor Trend Car of the Year

The Ford Fusion are awesome and very reliable and very well priced..Some people say that fords suck but my dad has a 90 ford aerstar with 300.000 miles and it still runs great..He never has any problems with it..But the ford fusion are very nice and affordable cars with awesome gas mileage..

You can get a fully loaded Hundai Sonata for about that. Best warranty in the US, it is not a Lexis but for the money it is a good buy.
