World music? Who actually has a clue in here? Show me what you know, my last question in "music" = 0answers

This is not a competition, please. I am an excellent musician, but I prefer Celtic and British folk music. It is my personal belief that I was born with genetic memory of these genres. I can appreciate Bach and Mozart, but my love is in the music/chants/songs of the European masses.
I do like the Eastern, meditative musical style, but it lacks the passion of an Italian opera. Both are creative, both are acquired tastes. Good luck !
