It is partly personal preference and partly wanting what you don't have! I have hazel eyes and would have loved to be blue-eyed, therefore I see blue eyes as more preferable. It's goes the same with hair color, except I would love to be a redhead. Then on top of all this, advertising comes along and starts the campaign that "blonde's have more fun". Now they are trying to convince everyone that blonde haired and blue-eyed is the ideal, and some people fall for this. I personally believe that blonde jokes were inspired to combat Hitler's 'master race' theory. Hair and eye color are superficial attractions, but it is not what a relationship is built on. So Don't worry if you can't meet a few people's ideals.

I don't think so. I think the reason most people do is because that's what the TV tell us is beautiful. Also because (natural) blonde hair and blue eyes are rarer than brown since the brown hair and brown eyes genes are the dominant genes. I myself like dark hair, light eyes although I have brown hair and brown eyes. Everyone has their own tastes!

Because those people see what's below the blonde hair and blue eyes.. The luggage that is usually encompanies those two traits.
I prefer brunettes with dark skin and dark brown eyes.

Its all a matter of procreation. As it was said above.. some people think that other things are more attractive, so in a primitive, unflattering way, people are just looking for someone that they want their children to look like, or more likely a person who is going to gain them acceptance by their friends (ahem men), women do it too most times too so dont think I am knocking anyone.

I think the combination of dark eyes, and dark brunet hair, is by far the hottest. There are lots of pretty girls, with blond hair and blue eyes, but they don't do it for me, like girls with dark eyes and dark brunet hair do. This is my personal opinion, and everybody has there own personal likes, and dislikes.

I don't know. I have dark brunet hair and dark brown eyes. And I have to admit I got it goin' on! I'm not being conceited just honest.
I guess it's just there opinion.
But like I always say "Opinions are like butts. Eyeryboby has one some just stink worse than others."

Some prefer redheads, brunette, etc.
I personal think blue eyes and dark hair is a very good contrast!
