2nd amendment, baby! In the 1950s, the USSR determined that a land invasion of the US would be impossible not because of the US Army, but because of armed citizens. If you think the insurgency in Iraq is bad, you ain't seen nothing - 300 million armed Americans - look out!

Of course, the US Navy would likely reap havoc on the invading forces - the Atlantic and Pacific fleets would intercept the invading fleets and destroy many of the forces before they arrived. They can't handle aircraft carrier battle groups, and many of their capital ships and troop ships would be sunk, with tens of thousands of foreign soldiers drowning on the high seas.

Meanwhile, US forces currently in Afghanistan and Iraq turn north and invade Kazhakhstan, easily overrunning local resistance and breaking into Russian territory in the Crimean penninsula. America takes the Caucuses, cutting off 70% of Russia's oil supply and dealing a major blow to the invading nations. At the same time, US Navy SEALs are dispatched to take over Britian's North Sea offshore oil platorms, cutting Western Europe's oil supply.

Because the world's internet is under US control, America immediately turns off servers supporting any web sites in the invading nations, dealing a major blow to foreign communication and propeganda efforts that could have been used to their advantage. Additionally, US military intelligence flicks a switch, cutting off all satellite communications and disabling the operation of any US-made arms and aircraft used by the invading powers. Suddenly the US manufactured missiles on the French jets can't track their targets, rendering them and countless other weapons useless

But these are the tactical responses. The Strategic response is much more engaging. As we hit DEF-CON 3 and DEF-CON 2 rather quickly, the TRIAD is put into motion - land, air, and sea based nuclear weapons, baby! US nuclear bombers are airborne and circling over Alaska, waiting for orders to strike anywhere in the world. Nuclear missile submarines are at launch depth, and the Intercontinental Balistic Missiles are ready for launch. America assures Russia that it will not be nuked, and proceeds to demand the immediate surrender of all other invading powers under threat of nuclear war. Countries like UK and France have about 5 nuclear weapons capable of hitting America - but they are likely powered by US manufactured rockets and guidance systems, again rendering them useless. These countries capitulate almost immediately. Russia, it's invading force nearly destroyed and it's allies surrendered and beaten, must decide whether to resort to nuclear war, or to call off the attack. Russia knows that it has nothing to gain by using nukes, so it calls off the invasion.

America 1, Everyone Else 0. Don't mess with the red, white, and blue. And do stand as we play the Star Spangled Banner at the formal surrender ceremony. God bless America!

OK, well, you don't know how war works. Invasions on places far away are generally a very bad idea unless you've got strong allies holding the fort over there already. And despite their amazingly hot women, I don't think Canada is going to help much.

Also, the USA isn't focusing all it's power on T. W. A. Terrorism, I hear we're going back to the moon soon. We're also building new nuclear weapons, and lasers, and all sorts of new thingimajiggers and whathaveyou.

The main problem with your deranged ramblings is that no one can send like 10 countries' armies anywhere "without warning". Like, "Holy crap, Batman! Wherever did those... 400 thousand tanks come from?!" It doesn't work. Even with fancy stealth technology, 10,000 bombers will be pretty noticable to... everyone but you, apparently.

Aside from that, where's the motivation? France doesn't want the Louisiana Territory back. Hell, we don't want the Louisiana Territory. Nothing but tornadoes and dirt, out there. And I think Great Britain is still wetting its pants over losing to us in the American Revolution. I mean, the greatest army in the world vs. a ragtag group of hicks with muskets, and the former lost. Come on. We'd own their faces off again.

EDIT: Also, Mexico wouldn't stand a chance against the Texans. I mean, come on. Everyone and their dog in Texas has a gun, the Mexicans have a large assortment of... funny hats?

As the countries invade the USA; the president, realising that this is the moment of truth, declares a state if emergency and calls every single american to arms to defend their country and their honour. Despite their seemingly futile efforts there is still hope for the USA. They call all other countries that are not on the 'Secret Alliances' side and crush the betraying countries in one final glorious battle. Unfortunately most of the world is destroyed due to the high amount of nuclear weapons used.

Historically countries who wanted resources created wars as an excuse to take over.Eg.Portugal, Spain,French, Britain etc in thee 16th century. So did Genghis Khan, Romans, Hannibal etc.Hegemony is unsustainable if you have a complacent society that has everything.Hegemony is cyclical as in the past.Who knows? The future is not ours to see.Every tourist who buys gifts from America find that its been made in China! Nobody wants those jobs anymore in the US of A!! Americans have become so prosperous that they now tend to relax while the "sleeping giant", China awakens! Have you seen a Chinaman begging in the USA?

well if the americans can get there asses 2gether we would stand a chance.we do live in a wonderful country but we take it 4 granted.we should not be fighting halfway around the world when there is so much 2 be done in our own country.we should look 2 our own borders instead of sticking our noses into other countries affairs.make this country strong,n defend it 2 the death.bring our soldiers home where they r truely needed.why fight terrorism anywhere but at our own borders.

You are laughable, especially in your lack of knowledge about the world. Yes, we are under attack...but not by any of those countries. I'd like to know what parts of the US- Japan, Cuba, Russia and China owned in our history that they would want their territories back? I'd also like to know how an invasion force of that size would go unnoticed by the US?

As Ben T. had mentioned, Americans will answer their call to arms. At least the citizens who utilize their right to bear arms will. Unfortunately, our hunting rifles are not up to the job of hard core defense... however, after the government has been decimated and the individual citizen can equip themselves properly, the tide turns...

Sounds interesting. I would likely side with the invaders, I would likely betray the united states as soon as I could in order to survive. I owe them no loyalties.
