Homosexuals should have the right to be just as dumb as heterosexuals. If they want to get married, let them. Why should we be bigots about stupidity!?!!

I say why not - the fact that gay people are married really has no effect on my life - like just because a gay couple gets married doesn't mean I'm gonna get in a car accident and fall off a cliff.

Heck, most straight couples don't deserve to be married. It is not a matter of deserving. I am totally against the gay lifestyle, but they should be allowed to have their lifestyle because this is still a semi-free country. I believe it is a slap in the face to normal, married couples to allow gay marriage.

Why not? They are two consending adults who love each other, so they should be allowed to marry. People argue that this will ruin the sanctity of marriage. 1 in 3 marriages end in divorce so are these people afraid that they'll make it work? And I'm sick of them bringing the Bible into it! I doubt that any of these people against gay marriage follow the Bible's rules. The Bible says things against gays, fine, but it also tells us to love one another and to do unto others as you have them do unto you.

Why not? Why are so many straight people afraid of gays marrying? Being gay is not a disease that you can catch. If gays want to marry and be as miserable as straight people, let them.

I am a lesbian and feel that I am no threat to any heterosexual marriage. If Heterosexuals are that concerned, give me one reason (that has NOTHING to do with religious opinions) why I cannot marry the woman I love? I'm tired of the Christian Right determining everyones rights.

Absolutely! They are two people in love that want to legally share the rest of their lives together. Why should they be any different than heterosexuals? If marriage is so sacred, why not do something about divorce rates rather than keep people apart?

do you think that any one does NOT have the right to be happy for some reason
or that it is any ones business what other people do with their lives and if any one has the right to infringe upon people private lives .or the way in which they decide to live it.
is this a democratic attitude for what is supposed to be a Christian Democratic country
if so explain why

Heck No! They can live together and all (which grosses me out, but it is a free country). But NO, they should not be allowed to take away the meaning of traditional marriage.
