Why are there sex scenes in movies even in dumb movies?

I don't know why they have sex scenes so much especially the dumb movies or the silly ones. I guess Hollywood figures it to be a lure so more people will watch them. Give me a good old Western with the good guys fighting against the bad guys.

Mostly to sell tickets since the sex isn't relevant to the plot. Very rarely is it ever necessary but yeah, it's just to get people into the theater. Mostly guys since certain movies aim for a certain demographic and young guys (18-25) are difficult to lure to the movies.

Sex Sells. It makes people want to see those movies. Certainly not all people are attracted by it though, but generally yes.

Some people like horror movies, some people like romantic movies, some people like humorous movies, some people like action movies...
But EVERYONE likes sex.

they have to try to get our attention somehow especially the stupid B rated movies those are the only good parts
