What is the handheld thing that the daughter in Commander in Chief uses to chat online?

In Commander in Chief, the daughter has some neat looking instant messaging device. From what I've seen it's silverish, rectangular, and has a screen that slides down over the keyboard. If anyone knows what it is, I'd love to know.

It's a SIDEKICK and I think you can purchase one with service at T-Mobile or Cingular.
