I'd avoid the colleague and concentrate on your marriage. You didn't marry your spouse for no reason. Go revisit your courtship and find again the thing that made you love them. Sure things have changed but the spark that started your love is still there. Go fan the flame. If you have kids that doubles, triples, etc. your need to stay focused on your marriage. The damage you could do is immeasurable (to you and your spouse and family).
