There are few recordings I have ever encountered that have such a celestial feeling about them more than the old Nonesuch version of this Javanese Court Gamelan. Perhaps, Toshiro Mayuzumi's "Nirvana Symphony" comes close. Comments, please?

Although I am not a connoisseur of Eastern music, I find this gamelan style to be soothing and peaceful, very much like other Eastern philosophical practices. It reminds me of flowing water, or sunlight on children.

Please post a site I can find so I can download and listen. Sounds wonderful. And don't be so impatient with the rest of us, please. Not everyone has access to every piece of music ever performed.
